Julia Russell (Founder and Director)
“Energy, Passion, Fun, Daring, Curiosity and Focus on being relevant, practical and empowering”; Julia believes that’s what great facilitation is all about.
Julia Russell has been based in Singapore since 1994 and has spent the last 6 years building up a refreshingly different training and facilitation company, TurQuoise Communications.
We don’t use PowerPoint, we don’t use tables, we don’t have workbooks with all the answers in. What we do use is a lot of questions to understand the impact of your personality on how you work, how you communicate, how you present ideas and get things done. We then share different perspectives to build trust and respect, which are fundamental to success.
What are the qualifications needed to deliver great results? Lots of human observations through countless workshops delivered for Multi-National organizations, for Senior Leaders through to Graduate Hires, facilitated across Asia.
Julia has over 25 years of leadership, sales and customer service experience at Global Organisations such as Pearson, Thomson Reuters, Kaplan & Xerox; complementing her BA (Hons) in Business Studies from the University of Nottingham. She is an accredited facilitator for Meyers Briggs Personality Type Indicator MBTI ™, Huthwaite SPIN ™ Selling, Productive Thinking ™ and the Neethling Brain Instrument ™. We believe that a cake is an ambassador of taste for the host of a party, and it has to be
attractive and palatable! Our Passionate Artisan, Chef Joey takes time to perfect her creations and detail them with love to express what she believes in: every cake is a delight to create laughter and fond memories.
Chef Joey graduated as top of her cohort, with a DIPLÔME DE PÂTISSERIE from Le Cordon Bleu, Australia and receiving a Dux Award for her outstanding hard work and talent. She had worked part-time at the pre-eminent 360 Bar and Dining restaurant atop the iconic Sydney Tower, as a pastry chef for close to 2 years.
