S.T.E.A.M stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths. Each of STEAM’s five subjects shares a common approach and focus, being that they require observation, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Research shows there is a positive relationship between early STEAM experiences and future success in school. When young children have the opportunity to investigate the world around them, they learn and experiment with new STEAM skills and theories. Our programmes emphasize hands-on exploration and relevance to children’s age. We cover topics of interest to children and we use different starting points for the exploration of STEAM concepts. We make STEAM learning happen naturally as children explore, apply their knowledge and attempt challenges. Using interesting topics and everyday materials, we encourage exploration and creative thinking. Children will learn to use scientific, engineering and problem-solving skills such as experimentation, observation, comparing, designing, communication, inferencing and more.
